One unexpected bonus of driving a van with windows came at the local branch of Waitrose when I noticed the look I was getting from a fellow shopper as we both unloaded our respective trolley’s contents into our respective boots. While he hurried to empty his shopping trolley in the heavy rain I stayed lovely and dry under the protection of the enormous tailgate as I leisurely unloaded mine. This will never be a particularly cool car but the cool level must rise ever so slightly when other motorists express a sliver of envy, if only for that one small thing.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato production debut in Kuwait
The production ready version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato we first saw at Villa D’Este will be unveiled at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance in February. Last spring saw the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – spiritual successor to the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato – arrive at Villa D’Este, looking every bit as good as you would expect an Aston Martin by Zagato to look. There were doubts expressed about whether the v12 Zagato would go in to production – at least publicly – but it was always clear that the V12 Zagato was Aston Martin['s next halo car, following on from the even more extreme (certainly cost-wise) Aston Martin One-77.
Nissan is giving the 2013 Quest minivan the same base price as the 2012 model—$26,815 including the $825 shipping charges—and cutting the sticker price on two of the more popular trim levels. The top-trim Quest LE sees its sticker price climb of $290 to $43,465, but gets the around-view monitor added to the list of standard equipment. The sticker price of the 2013 Nissan Quest SV, one step up from the base model, was trimmed $1,310 from the 2012 model price to $30,565.
